BOHEMA LIMEWASH

This type of paint and the brush painting method are timeless and status-neutral.

PAINT FOR THE ART OF SHADOWS

In ancient times, they were used to decorate villas and other spaces, and nowadays they are perfectly suitable for both a restored Lithuanian rural house and an extravagant NY loft. It is said - genius lies in simplicity: matured lime, water saturated with calcium crystals, Greek marble powder, and Italian earth pigments. This is the recipe of our paint workshop.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • For walls and ceilings, constructions, decor.

  • Surfaces to be painted must be dry and clean.

  • Paint 2-3 times, depending on the condition of the surface, the tool, and the desired result.

  • The rougher the surface, the more pronounced the color change in those areas will be.

  • Paint with a wider, longer natural bristle brush (e.g., 3x12) or paintbrush.

  • The traditional painting technique is painting in eights or crossing, and today's style - up and down, starting to paint in the middle of the wall and trying to leave as many traces of color inconsistency as possible.

  • To increase the paint's resistance or to give a more pronounced effect, the wall can be treated with Wax Soap, Lime Water, or a mixture of both at a ratio of 1:5.

USAGE

IMPORTANT

When painting cement plaster, 30 days must pass to complete the plaster maturation process. The paint dries in 4-6 hours, and the next layer can be applied after 24 hours, at 50% humidity and +20°C. Before starting to paint, the paint must be well mixed. The paint can be diluted with 10%-30% water. Before painting synthetic paint surfaces, OSB, gypsum board, the wall must be primed with Marble Leo primer.
